Be the Change you wish to See

Once upon a time, a girl named Li-Li got married & went to live with her husband & mother-in-law.

Li-Li found that she couldn't get along with her mother-in-law at all. Their personalities were different, Li-Li was angered by her mother-in-law' s habits. Day by day, Li-Li & her mother-in-law never stopped arguing & fighting. Worse, according to ancient Chinese tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her mother-in-law and obey her every wish. All the anger & unhappiness in the house cause Li-Li's poor husband great distress.

Finally, Li-Li couldn't stand her mother-in-law' s bad temper & dictatorship any longer, she decided to do something about it. Li-Li went to see her father's good friend, Mr. Huang, who sold herbs. She told him the situation & asked if he would give her some poison to solve the problem once & for all.

Mr. Huang thought for awhile, and finally said, "Li-Li, I will help you solve your problem, but you must obey what I tell you."

Li-Li agreed, "I will do whatever you advise". "Mr. Huang went into a room, & returned with a package of herbs. He told Li-Li, "You can't use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your mother-in-law, because that would cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in her body.

One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang & asked for his help again. Mr. Huang, please help me to take off the poison from killing my mother-in-law. She'd changed into a nice woman, I love her like my own mother. I don't want her to die anymore."

Mr. Huang smiled."Li-Li, there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve her health. The only poison was in your mind & your attitude toward her, but that has been washed by the love you gave to her."

There is a wise Chinese saying: "The person who loves others will also be loved in return." God might be trying to work in another person's life through you.

Tonight & Last Night

There aren't much to tell actually. Yes, but since I already made a caption, why would I waste it?
Well, yesterday there was an event which a good friend of mine whom I knew since we were in college. Just a small ceremony, but unfortunately I'm too busy to join him but anyway, in return I invite him to have dinner with me to an ordinary looking restaurant.(well..it actually is...)

But anyway, moving on...
so I'd ordered fried kuay teow & teh-o while he ordered fried rice & teh-tarik.
Okay if u r wondering i'm gonna talk how the food taste is, well i'm not going to.
Actually what I want to tell is just; at the end of our conversation, he didn't finish his food.
(oh, i remembered a time in my 1st date, i also didn't finish mine...(^_^A hehehe)

Well, today I'd watch this program where it shows how people in the other side died starving not because there's no food supply, but they don't have the access to get the food. Feeling really sorry & pity too...

So today, my mum & dad invite me to have dinner with them at a restaurant. Maybe u r wondering why they just don't cook at home. well, the fact is, both of them live about 68km from this house i n my siblings lived. my parents lived there since 2008 because they just opened their own factory overthere, so instead of going back n forth, they put me in charge to take care of my siblings here.
okay, back to the topic.
I've ordered a new kind of dish today, almost similar to paprik but..hmmm..this one is quite different. it looks quite spicy n hot but...i don't think it is. but anyway thanks mum n dad, no matter how it taste i'd finished it!

Secret Recepe's Thai Fried Rice

Yeasterday, Sunday...I went to Temerloh, visiting friend who I met online. At the first time I met him, he was a little bit shy. It was kinda awkward. He was like...how do I say this...hmm...'otaku'? Not an anime fans but for most of the time he prefer to stay at home, reading books, watching dvds & internet surfing.
But anyway, later on, after awhile...we've become quite close and I found him to be and interesting person.
Yeah, in the first glance you might think he's kinda like a geek or something but yeah, like old saying "don't jugde a book by it's cover". So READ first, get to KNOW the content and UNDERSTAND it.

Back to 'yesterday'. He took me to his personal ranch(not a ranch actually, just a place like a shop-house ) as soon as I arrived, I look over his full-filled book cabinet, talk about our days & learn a lil bit of chinese(i guess...)

Now, enough for indoors, let's get outdoors!
Like always, whenever I go outside I must visit a restaurant or food stalls. Damn, I love food!
So, we went to Secret Recipe for tea time. I'd ordered the Thai Fried Rice and Strawberry Yogurt Ice-blended.
It was so damn yummy! I love the thai soup, a tom yam button mushroom soup, it's not to spicy but still it's good! Along with the rice the was a special sause i think it might be a mix of budu & sambal belacan i guess.. The fried rice was well cooked and I loved the fried udang galah(a prawn). It's salty taste n well-done cooked captured my heart!
I think I will come to this restaurant again. Recommended to all my friends out there. The price is quite expensive but it's worth your money and time.
Sore de...mata na! Itadakimasu~! <(^o^)
